A fun evening was had by all! (at a MoxieintheCity Trivia Dating Event) But this is really more of an evening of fun rather than anything dating related. The class (How To Meet Men/Women) had two parts: learning how to meet people and learning about how others perceive you. It was very interesting for me to learn what others perceived about me...my identity. In the feedback exercise and session, men and women I had never met before offered positive feedback about their impressions of me from just having met me that night. It was comforting to learn that people were perceiving my qualities despite what I actually thought about myself, and I was surprised by the range and diversity of the qualitities people were picking up about me. For meeting other people, the instructors offered some simple (easy to do) and fun ways to begin a conversation with people. I'm glad the class had a mix of men and women. I had always thought it was easier for women to meet men, but one of the women in the class shared her thoughts and feelings and I found she felt exactly like me. It was very interesting for me.

Moxie's Bedroom Confidence workshop was both entertaining and educational. You're sitting around with a bunch of strangers talking about a pretty intimate topic which may sound like it should be awkward but after a few minutes in, you forget about that and are enjoying yourself. Chris was a great facilitator - she was open, she knew her stuff and when she didn't she didn't pretend to, and she kept the session on track (we tended to veer off - you know how women can be :) What also made it great was the caliber of the other attendees who were supportive as well as hilarious at times. All in all, it was $30 and 2 hours well spent. -BBP

I came to Moxie's workshop on 9/12 with an open mind to listen and share some honest thoughts. I wouldn't really call it a workshop, more of an enlightening group discussion in a private comfortable setting. She and the others welcomed me with a direct, honest and nurturing attitude. Moxie covered some interesting behavioral issues such as emotions, control, and personal thoughts in a diplomatic non-biased view.
